Assessment in SL Proj. 001
The reason Proj 001 is a part of our Route Four course is because we believe it can help you to develop and improve your English language skills and knowledge. Of course, your skills and knowledge will not improve if you do not work on them. Therefore, the more effort you put into Proj 001, the more your English language skills and knowledge will develop. This will of course help you in your faculty studies and professional life. In the short term it will also help you with other SL assessments ( OA, Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening).
Proj 001 also contributes 9% to your overall Route Four score. The Proj 001 grade comprises several components: Meeting Phase Objectives, Contribution to Team Tutorials, Quality of Reflection and Presentations. You can find out more about these below.

Individual Literature Review
This is an individual assessment. It is assessed when you have finished writing drafts to improve your writing.
When we do research we often conduct a Literature Review. Literature reviews help us to understand the current state of research or understanding of our area of research. As a result we can start our research from the current understanding of the area.,
When we write, either academically or professionally, we often go through a process of writing an outline and several drafts. In Proj 001 individual writing you are encouraged to write minimum of 2 drafts, if you wish to continue to improve your writing. If you choose to do so, your teacher will set a deadline and give you feedback. If you miss the deadline, the last piece of writing you did will be assessed.
